This was a new role in a 300-person startup, and involved creating a career framework and compensation philosophy for the company by designing a job architecture, job families, career ladder, and utilizing market benchmarks and other tools to establish firm and equitable HR policies.

VMware (returning)

UX Research Analyst

This is a marketing role designed to understand customer journeys when using VMware products and browsing the product webpages. Relevant objectives include:

  • A/B testing and other experiments

  • Insights through Tableau, Mode, and other BI tools

  • SQL queries of internal databases for product telemetry and campaign effectiveness

General Assembly

This was a full-time immersive programming bootcamp to learn the methods and tools of modern Data Science, including and not limited to:

Primary responsibilities:

  • Administering equity (stock) awards for New Hires and Annual refresh

  • Consulting on all pay matters for executives, new hires and broad employees

  • Managing cross-functional discussions and projects, financial analyses, general HR tasks

  • M&A work, including the public acquisition of Pivotal (PVTL)

  • Facilitating and driving internal research on Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC)

  • Collecting Top 5 NEO pay from SEC.gov

  • Leading team to create and maintain an Executive Severance database

  • Capturing and reviewing best practices on public Board pay, executive transitions, incentive design structures, etc.
